we love...

A stunning Ceremony location overlooking the valley, amazing grounds, an experienced in house wedding planner and a fantastic french chef.

What's so special about Château Plombis?

Chateau Plombis is conveniently situated one hour from Toulouse in the stunning Quercy Blanc region of France. Surrounded by 25 hectares of gardens and woodland, you and your guests will have exclusive use of Chateau Plombis – the grounds, swimming pool and tennis court.

Chateau Plombis offers a superb backdrop for an elegant, glamorous, woodland wedding in the South of France. Built from local, honey-coloured sandstone, the chateau makes for an elegant and relaxed wedding venue.

Framed by huge ancient cedars and specimen trees, the domaine boasts 25 hectares of grounds and orchards that make for a photogenic setting. The experienced in house wedding planners have organised over 300 bespoke weddings, so you’ll be in safe hands when it comes to making your own wedding vision come to life at Chateau Plombis.

On the big day, say “I do” in the woodland area, a tree-shaded clearing with sweeping views over the valley. Dining al fresco on the lawn or perhaps under the long covered gallery, that used to be the old stables. The Arcades were refurbished in 2018 and retain it’s original character with exposed wooden beams and a ceiling covered with dangling fairylights.

The covered gallery is connected to the Orangerie by a central pigeoneer tower with event toilets. The Orangerie, with its impressive large windows, is another fantastic area to dance the night away with a rather glam bar area.

The domaine can sleep up to 26 people: 19 people in the chateau and 7 people in a cottage on the grounds. The rooms on the upper floor roll out onto a dazzling 26m corridor of polished parquet, decorated with chandeliers, a picture gallery and a grand piano, ready to tinkle away if you or any of your guests have the skills.

With a wonderful in house wedding planner at your disposable, you can rest assured your wedding at Chateau Plombis will be everything you could hope for thanks to Joanne.

Last but not least, Chateau Plombis’ concept is to offer outstanding wedding food that will showcase local French cuisine and look spectacular on the plate. Jean Marc “ Le Chef Impeccable” is the resident Chef whose culinary skills are renowned. Continental breakfast will be delivered fresh every morning for all the residents from the local bakery including local organic honey and jam. Just kick back and let them take care of you and your guests for a wedding weekend guaranteed to delight everyone.

don't miss...

The day after why not continue the wedding festivities by having everyone back to the Chateau for a BBQ, relax by the pool and perhaps even a knock about on the private tennis court.

Public Holidays

The French treat Christmas, Easter and New Year as serious holidays, as well as VE Day (8th May), Bastille Day (14th July), Armistice Day (11th November) and various saints days (e.g. All Saints' Day on 1st November).

Good Time to Go

Late May - Early October

good to know

If you're flexible with your Wedding date, late Spring (April/May) & early Autumn (Oct), just outside of High Season can be slightly cheaper when booking a venue. You will find late June & September dates book up quickly - these are the preferred months to celebrate a wedding in France.
