What's So Special About Le Stonghe Estate?
Wow, ok. Let us tell you a bit about this spectacular Italian Country House wedding venue. The estate ‘Le Stonghe’ consists of a 500-year-old Palazzo and country house with a spectacular panoramic view of the Adriatic Sea.
Le Stonghe gets its name from the ridge of La Stongha on which the estate is located which falls under the municipality of Fossombrone in Marche, Central Italy. The Italian region Le Marche is often called ‘the best kept secret of Italy’ and it’s no surprise as to why. Le Stonghe is located on a mountain ridge, against the sloping landscape of the Italian Region Le Marche.
With several luxurious apartments for 2-6 people, Le Stonghe can accommodate a total of 55 guests on site, including yourselves. From the pool area you have a breathtaking view of surrounding grain fields, olive groves, cypresses and villages that all lead up to the Adriatic Sea – characteristic for the landscape of Le Marche.
You’ll have exclusive use of the 14 hectare estate, use of their In-house wedding planner and In-house catering team (who by the way, serve up the most INCREDIBLE Italian food) all in an idyllic setting to have an unforgettable wedding experience in Italy. ‘La Dolce Vita’ in its purest form.
The direct surroundings of Fossombrone are very rich in terms of history and culture. The Roman town of Urbino was established in the 3rd century B.C. and knew great cultural flourish during the Renaissance.
Price: From €12,700 – €40,000
Nearest Airports: The nearest airports are Ancona Airport (80 km) and Bologna Airport (160 km).

Transportation
Italy has plenty of public transport, from the trains to the metro in cities like Milan. The roads (and Italian drivers) are notoriously terrifying for foreigners so it’s often better to take a taxi than hire a car.
Public Holidays
Each town in Italy has it's own patron saint and shuts down to celebrate the saint’s day each year (e.g. Rome is Sts. Peter and Paul, June 29th). Alongside Christmas and Easter, the other big religious festivals are Epiphany (6th January) and All Saints Day (1st November). All of Italy celebrates Labour Day (1st May) and also Liberation Day (April 25th).
