What's So Special About Kasbah Bab Ourika?
The Kasbah Bab Ourika sits in an extraordinarily beautiful landscape, way up in the Atlas Mountains, on a hill top, at the very apex of the Ourika Valley. This boutique hotel come wedding venue, looks down to the river, green fields and groves of olives, oranges and lemons and up to the snowy mountain peaks.
With 360 degree panoramic views, kasbah bab ourika receives a blanket of sunlight all day ending in quite the spectacular sunset. A memorable escape from the hustle and bustle of the western world, with on site accommodation for up to 90 guests in 41 rooms โ 15 rooms in the main building, 15 in the gardens (including a 5 bedroom villa and 3 pool suites) and 11 including the new retreat. Each room has been individually decorated, all different from one another but to an exceptional standard. Your guests will have spectacular views of the Atlas mountains, the national park and the Ourika Valley from their bedroom.
In the Autumn of 202 a new 11 bedroom ensuite bedroom retreat opened at Kasbah Bab Ourika for parties, weddings, yoga groups and corporate events. The new retreat can be hired individually or together with the main Kasbah bringing together a total of 40 rooms available. The chef, Michael Arthur along with the Kasbah team will provide you and your guests with a delicious, healthy and balanced wedding menu sourced from their own bio kitchen gardens and the Ourika Valley.

Transportation

There are specific wedding traditions in the Moroccan culture. Painting hands with intricate henna designs, and being dressed in exotic costumes are all part of a bridal experience. The geometric designs on the henna are said to ward off evil and encourage fertility.
