What's So Special about Casa La Siesta?
With stylish décor, pretty gardens and a picturesque Spanish courtyard Casa La Siesta is the perfect destination wedding venue in Southern Spain, for up to 150 guests.
There are no packages or deals, which can often make a lot of weddings feel the same, only Casa La Siesta’s commitment to delivering exactly what you want on your big day. The hotel’s interiors have received rave reviews from the likes of ELLE, The Times and The Telegraph, not to mention having also won the prestigious Conde Nast Gold Award for the last five years
Whether you’ve got your heart set on a civil or humanist ceremony on the grounds, romantic beach nuptials or a traditional affair in a beautiful old Spanish church, Casa La Siesta makes getting married in Spain legally easy.
Your ceremony can be held outdoors at the front of the house with a romantic flower-filled, arched aisle, or for a small wedding our grassed rose garden is an intimate and magical location. Alternatively, the gorgeous beach of El Palmar is 15 minutes’ drive away or there are two churches within 10 minutes’ drive of Casa La Siesta to choose from: Santuario Virgen de la Oliva and Iglesia Divino Salvador.
Let’s talk food. Wedding day champagne breakfasts and groom’s brunches, wedding reception canapes, pre- and post-party BBQs, dawn snacks and, of course, the main wedding meal itself… from start to finish Casa La Siesta can cater to whatever you have in mind. The wedding menus are designed using some of the best food and wine from all over Spain – be it a delicious orange blossom brewed beer from Seville or the freshest cut of tuna from the port just up the road.
Getting to Casa La Siesta is a breeze, with a few nearby airports: Gibraltar and Malaga are a little further away with more frequent flights from the UK and Ireland, while Seville and Jerez de la Frontera are closer with slightly fewer.
The Casa can be hired exclusively as a wedding venue for 3 or 7 days. To ensure Casa La Siesta can offer the best possible service they only allow 10 weddings per year.

don't miss...
Always pictured the strum of a guitar and the stomp of flamenco feet while your guests nibbled canapes and sipped Cava? Or imagined the sound of a string quartet wafting over the garden before the ceremony? Live bands, DJs, silent discos, circus performers, children’s entertainers… whatever you have in mind, we can pretty much guarantee that Casa La Siesta will deliver.

Transportation
RENFE runs high-speed trains across the country and towns such as Madrid and Barcelona have their own Metro networks. Look for the green light if you want to hail a taxi in the street – Spanish taxis wont take more than four people at a time and they’re harder to find on Friday and Saturday nights. Most cities have plenty of buses with tickets available on board or at estancos (tobacconists).
Public Holidays
All the big religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, as well as Three Kings Day/ Epiphany (6th January), Labour Day (1st May) and Hispanic Day (12th October). Many of the regions have their own local public holidays, such as Balearic Day in the Balearic Islands (1st March).

good to know
Spain is recognised as one of the sunniest countries in Europe, with over 300 days of sunshine per year. That sounds like good odd's to us...
