What's so special about Domaine Les Carrasses?
Chateau Les Carrasses is a magnificent 19th Century wine estate, carefully restored and reimagined as a luxury country estate blending the services of a hotel with the relaxed, privileged atmosphere of a private club, Château Les Carrasses is the perfect location for your French wedding. Whether you opt for chic and laid back style or wish for an old-school French elegance vibe, Les Carrasses can provide you with either. The Chateau is set on a picture-perfect romantic backdrop – a turreted Château on beautiful grounds surrounded by rolling vineyards with views of the Pyrénées and beyond.
The Château is located in the beautiful Languedoc region of the South of France, where a warm Mediterranean climate means long sunny days, balmy evenings and clear starry nights – the Languedoc is one of the sunniest places in Europe. It’s also convenient, with easy air, road and rail links for your guests, whether coming from France, Europe or further afield.

Big cities such as Paris have a metro but most locations have cheap and accessible public transport, such as trains and buses. Taxis are easy to find or call – available taxis are often indicated by a blue or white light.
Public Holidays
The French treat Christmas, Easter and New Year as serious holidays, as well as VE Day (8th May), Bastille Day (14th July), Armistice Day (11th November) and various saints days (e.g. All Saints' Day on 1st November).

Late May - Early October
good to know
If you're flexible with your Wedding date, late Spring (April/May) & early Autumn (Oct), just outside of High Season can be slightly cheaper when booking a venue. You will find late June & September dates book up quickly - these are the preferred months to celebrate a wedding in France.
