Whether you are looking for a small, intimate affair besides a roaring log fire or a sing at the top of your voice and dance until your feet hurt extravaganza, Birtsmorton Court can offer the perfect location.

At Birtsmorton Court we have the best range of ceremony options for you to choose from. As a licensed wedding venue for civil ceremonies, they are one of only a handful of Cotswold wedding venues with an actual church on site. There are a wealth of stunning locations to hold blessings and any other ceremony you may wish to have.  The church of St. Thomas of Canterbury with St. Peter & St. Paul can be found in the heart of our grounds. You and up to 115 guests can enjoy a Christian ceremony or blessing in this beautifully maintained 14th Century church without any of the hassle of going from place to place. Think stunning stained-glass windows, an organ and organist, a red-carpet aisle and bells which ring out after you’ve tied the knot! The bells chime as you meander through towards the gardens where your drinks and canapes are ready and waiting. With its heavenly white flowers, fountain and pretty pergola, The White Garden is perhaps the most beautiful garden in Worcestershire for a relaxed, outdoor civil ceremony. This garden bursts to life from March onwards and has to be seen to be believed. There’s seating for 80 guests, with additional space for plenty more to stand or, marry outside on either our Top Lawn which sits just outside the White Garden, or on the Lower Lawn near the ancient bridge. Both locations are as romantic as the other with backdrop views of the moat, glorious gardens and historic manor house with unlimited seating available.

The Great Hall is right at the centre of the main moated manor. Dating back to the 13th Century, this spectacular room is filled with character and history. It’s perfectly fitting for such a special occasion and can accommodate up to 80 guests.

The Linney, the newest addition, boasts the perfect balance between the glorious outdoors and the practicality of an indoor space. Decorate the beams however you like, they will re purpose this space for your wedding breakfast.

Once home to Mr Dawes’s classic car collection, The Barn complete with oak framing with feature sized windows and a canopy of fairy lights. An ideal space for civil ceremonies for larger guest numbers which can comfortably seat up to 150 guests.

What Couples Say

“My husband and I (still not used to saying that!) got married at Birtsmorton earlier this month and couldn’t recommend it enough. It’s so amazing I’m going to have to break it down into sections for this review. Firstly the venue – we first went to view it on a rainy October afternoon, after being recommended it by a friend who had previously been a wedding guest there. Even on a dreary Autumn day we thought it was amazing and booked immediately. Needless to say on a sunny June day it was even more beautiful. The backdrop of the Malvern hills and the beautiful gardens make it idyllic. I had some lovely comments from our guests, one of which said he had been to weddings all over the world in stunning places, including ones with Table Mountain as the background, but that we had chosen the most beautiful venue he’d ever seen. Someone else commented that there were so many places to utilise through the day that it was constantly exciting and something new to photograph and that she keeps telling everyone she knows about how great it is. The accommodation onsite is fab and gave us so much flexibility with the young children (and their parents) that were a part of our immediate wedding party. Last, but by no means least, our wedding co-ordinator Grace was absolutely brilliant. She was a huge support on the run up to the day offering advice where needed. Then on the day she was a superstar, on top of organising our (difficult!) guests and keeping a bride feeling chilled out, she also felt like a friend. Both Andy and I could see the amount of work she was doing whilst making it look effortless to our guests and ensuring the day went by without a hiccup. I’m really not normally a gushy person so I hope the amount of words I’ve used goes a long way to explaining how much we loved it and how much we would recommend. I’m asking all my couple friends if they’ll get married there so I can go back and experience it all over again!! Thank you so much Grace and the wider Birtsmorton team. You really made the day perfect and we are so grateful for all your hard work and the memories we’ll cherish of our special day. Kate & Andy x “

What Couples Say

“We got Married at Birtsmorton on 10 August 2023 and we had the most amazing day! The venue was absolutely stunning in each area of the gardens/ buildings. We were lucky enough to set up the day before and had the chance to speak to the gardeners who were so helpful and friendly. Lucy was our coordinator and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. She was so lovely and friendly and made us feel completely at ease because she took care of everything! Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we are so grateful to Lucy and the team, thank-you!
