A note from Ca Na Xica on making their wedding venue eco friendly & sustainable

“We passionately believe that environmental quality is key to providing Ca Na Xica guests with a perfect and sustainable experience. That’s why we implement a long list of practices that respect the environment and our surroundings. We use solar panels to generate our own green energy. We have our own well water, and we filter all the water used at our property for it’s subsequent use watering the crops on the grounds of our finca. We treat the water used in the kitchen and in our restaurant Salvia through osmosis, in order to make it drinkable. We also have our own herb garden and a larger garden with aromatic plants, flowers and native fruit trees.”

What's So Special About Ca Na Xica?

Today, Ibiza is just as much for R&R as it is for it’s world renowned party scene, so when it comes to a destination wedding here, well, we’d say you’ve got the best of both worlds.

Former country estate turned luxurious Hotel & Spa, Ca Na Xica is quite the unique destination wedding venue, set in a Bucolic patch just outside Sant Miquel de Balansat in the islands yoga-loving, hippy esq northern hinterland.

Ca Na Xica has a total of 23 rooms, which means you can accommodate up to 60 guests (including yourselves) on site. In keeping with the rest of the hotel, the rooms are spacious, light and considered. All suites spill out onto a balcony or onto their own private terrace overlooking the beautiful surrounding countryside.

On the grounds you’ll find a spectacular T shaped saltwater pool, framed by a symmetrical array of tall fir and olive trees.

In terms of space to position certain aspects of the big day, you’ve got plenty of areas to choose from. For the Ceremony, perhaps by the poolside, or our personal preference, in their secluded forest area. Guest can then migrate over to Ca Na Xica’s small man made beach for those post ceremony reception drinks and canapés before dining al fresco amongst the olive trees with fairy lights scattered overhead.

Nearest Airport: Travel to the venue is easy, just a short 20 minute transfer from Ibiza airport (the hotel can arrange private transfers for you or your guests staying at the property at around €110 each way).

Price: from €21,720

All the big religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, as well as Three Kings Day/ Epiphany (6th January), Labour Day (1st May) and Hispanic Day (12th October). Many of the regions have their own local public holidays, such as Balearic Day in the Balearic Islands (1st March).

good to know

Ibiza boasts on average 300 days of sunshine a year. That sounds like great odds to us.
