What's So Special About Château de Jalesnes?
Built in 1610 in the Loire Valley, Château de Jalesnes is rich with history, playing host to knights, royals, merchants, and more. Lovingly restored to it’s former glory, Chateau de Jalesnes is available to hire all-year round. Why not privatise the Château for up to 65 guests and have the place to yourselves? Opt for their exclusive use option to see them close the chateau to the public, giving you the full run of the château for you and your guests. Use the grounds and function spaces to their maximum potential – perhaps cocktails on the terrace, your ceremony in the chapel and a reception for up to 180 people in the magnificent banquet hall, or a more intimate gathering in the dining room.
Chateau de Jalesnes has many a perfect space for your perfect day: the Chapel on site – Chapel of St Louis, with its stone domed roof and stained glass window, within the chateau itself you have The Pavillon de Chasse – an ancient stone hunting tower, in the chateau’s forest you’ll find The Chestnut Grove – adjacent to the chateau, sheltered under massive cooling trees you have The Formal Lawns – with the chateau or forest as your backdrop The Dry Moat – offers a unique aspect surrounding the Chateau. So, whether you imagine your guests taking Cocktails on the Terrace or in the Chestnut Grove, sipping afternoon tea in the formal French Gardens then fine dining into the evening in the Grand Banquet Hall, this beautiful french wedding venue can certainly cater to your vision.
With space inside capable of seating up to 180 guests within the Chateau, or for larger gatherings, the formal lawns can accommodate up to 500 people.
