Château de Laurentie, Toulouse
France
we love...
That for all its grandeur, Laurentie has a wonderfully playful side. The chequerboard floors of the Orangerie, characterful interiors and sheer scale of the Grande Salle bring personality at every turn, making the château feel every bit as fun to celebrate in as it is beautiful to look at.

What's so special about Château de Laurentie?
Château de Laurentie | The French Château That Likes a Party, Just Moments From Toulouse
Château de Laurentie has all the good looks of a grand French château, but thankfully, none of the need to keep your voice down.
Set within seven hectares of parkland just outside Toulouse, the estate gives you plenty to play with. There’s a consecrated chapel for intimate ceremonies, an Orangerie with its distinctive chequerboard floor, elegant rooms within the château and the rather impressive Grande Salle d’Apparat, where up to 350 guests can sit down for dinner. In other words, intimate when you want it to be; very ready for a party when you don’t.
The joy is in moving between them. A ceremony can feel wonderfully intimate before everyone spills out into the grounds, with the celebration gradually building as the day goes on. The Orangerie offers another beautiful setting for ceremonies and gatherings, while the Grande Salle brings the scale for a proper sit-down dinner – and a guest list that doesn’t require too much ruthless editing.
Fourteen bedrooms mean your closest people can stay right at the heart of the celebrations, too. There’s something particularly lovely about waking up together the following morning, gathering over breakfast and discovering which version of the previous night’s events has already become the official story.
And Laurentie is still evolving. A beautiful swimming pool is currently taking shape in the garden in front of the château’s entrance courtyard, with a formal French-style garden being created alongside it. Together, they will bring another beautifully considered layer to the estate and an inviting new setting for the slower moments around the celebration.
And while Laurentie certainly knows how to do grandeur, it isn’t limited to one grand room and a manicured lawn. The chapel, Orangerie, courtyard, salons and surrounding parkland each bring something different, allowing the wedding to change mood as the day unfolds rather than keeping everyone in one place from ceremony to last dance.
Château de Laurentie is for couples who want the theatre of a French château wedding without making the whole thing feel terribly serious. Beautiful architecture, acres of parkland and room for a seriously good celebration – this is a château that looks particularly good with a guest list.
Nearest Airports: Toulouse-Blagnac Airport (TLS) – approximately 20–25 km away (around 25–30 minutes by car).

The French treat Christmas, Easter and New Year as serious holidays, as well as VE Day (8th May), Bastille Day (14th July), Armistice Day (11th November) and various saints days (e.g. All Saints' Day on 1st November).
Good Time to Go
France is a wonderful destination for a wedding year-round, with every season offering its own unique charm. For couples looking for a more intimate celebration or greater value, winter can be a particularly appealing choice, with quieter surroundings and often more accessible venue rates.
good to know
If you're flexible with your Wedding date, late Spring (April/May) & early Autumn (Oct), just outside of High Season can be slightly cheaper when booking a venue. You will find late June & September dates book up quickly - these are the preferred months to celebrate a wedding in France.
