What's so special about Chateau de Robernier?
Chateau de Robernier originally dates back to the 16th century, and remained in the same family for 400 years. The family, the de Robernier line, can be traced back to the Capetian dynasty, the largest and oldest European Royal house. In the 18th century, the main-castle, chapel, orangerie and ballroom were built. The architecture of the main façade, with its two round, pointy towers are unique, and the only structure with such in Provence.
It was once possible to cross the whole department of Var, without leaving the land of Chateau de Robernier.
The land, over the years, was divided and divided again through successive inheritance processes. Today, the chateau is still surrounded by its private hills and valleys. The castle belongs to the same family, although the owners changed names, because it was passed through the daughters of the family.
Since 2006, the castle has undergone a vast renovation project and has been brought back to its former glory, original details have been restored and 21st century technology has been incorporated whilst maintaining the original feeling of the castle.
Having the flexibility to completely customise your wedding day/weekend at any venue is a biggie and quite often hard to come by. Chateau de Robernier affords you the choice to choose – you can opt for one of their all inclusive wedding packages or tailor the day exactly how you want, with the suppliers you would like.
Château de Robernier is located just 1 hour and 15 minutes from both Nice and Marseille airports making it a fairly accessible location for guests travelling from afar.
don't miss...
