we love...

Whether you choose to have your ceremony on the grounds outside, shaded by the 2 hundred year old plane trees or inside the renovated barn to shelter your guests from the sun – it’s all down to your preference and we love a venue with such flexibility! We’d set up for an outdoor Ceremony, post ceremony drinks & canapés by the pool then why not dine alfresco in the courtyard before partying the night away in the barn.

What's So Special About Domaine du Petit Roulet?

Nestled in the heart of Provence, in Luberon, this charming 17th century French estate is the perfect place to celebrate a chic, rural destination wedding.

Available to hire out exclusively, you and your guests will have the entire property to yourselves and due to it’s Southern location the estate benefits from a mild and sunny climate throughout the whole year.

The property is centred around a large shaded courtyard, an outdoor swimming pool, quaint pergola area and an olive and apple grove. All these spaces are available for you to choose where you have the ceremony, the reception, your photos and dinner.

There are five large suites on site to comfortably accommodate up to thirteen of your guests (including yourselves), with great local accommodation options for the remainder of your guests all within 5-10 minutes away.

In terms of getting around, the estate is close to the region’s train stations and airports, allowing you quick access to the Domaine from wherever your guests are travelling from around the world.

Price: €6,900

Transportation

Big cities such as Paris have a metro but most locations have cheap and accessible public transport, such as trains and buses. Taxis are easy to find or call – available taxis are often indicated by a blue or white light.

Public Holidays

The French treat Christmas, Easter and New Year as serious holidays, as well as VE Day (8th May), Bastille Day (14th July), Armistice Day (11th November) and various saints days (e.g. All Saints' Day on 1st November).

Good Time to Go

Late May - Early October

good to know

If you're flexible with your Wedding date, late Spring (April/May) & early Autumn (Oct), just outside of High Season can be slightly cheaper when booking a venue. You will find late June & September dates book up quickly - these are the preferred months to celebrate a wedding in France.

What Couples Say

An unforgettable weekend in a beautiful place No need to visit other places, Le Petit Roulet was our first visit for our wedding and it was love at first sight. Everything is perfect and it’s exactly what we wanted: a place with the charm of Provence but refined at the same time. Everything is sumptuous, the decoration, the garden, the pool, everything is in the detail. To each question, Matthias answers me positively, nothing is missing . It’s a chic place but without being bling bling, it’s intimate and you feel good. Everything is clean, the rooms very pretty and impeccable. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and professionalism (valet, lifeguard, Marie and Dominique and her colleagues). Thank you Matthias for this place, thank you for your kindness, your responsiveness and your listening. The location was the most important thing for our wedding and we are not disappointed. With each arrival of our guests, the place made its little effect! We had an unforgettable weekend but it went by way too fast. See you in a few years for the renewal of our vows!

What Couples Say

Our wedding was an unforgettable moment, in an absolutely beautiful place! From the ceremony in the barn, to the meal in the courtyard, to the cocktail party under the pergola by the pool, we had a wonderful day. The place, full of charm and authenticity, is sumptuous and simple at the same time. A big thank you to Matthias, Marie and Dominique for their guidance!

What Couples Say

“Thanks to Matthias and his parents for their welcome, their kindness and their availability! We fell in love with Le Petit Roulet from our first visit: the place is magnificent, the rooms are tastefully decorated and we immediately felt at home in this dream place! Our guests were impressed by the beauty of the place, they loved the calm and tranquility of this haven of peace! The reception took place in the courtyard of the farmhouse, the dinner and the evening in the barn. The estate can accommodate the caterer in perfect conditions.”
