“We are one of the only original barn wedding venues that contains most of our original features! Kinkell was built in the 1700s and was used as a barn to keep cattle in, we kept all the walls and original stone and just changed the roof and floor!”

Kinkell Byre offers you exclusive hire of a converted barn, which is full of character and rustic charm for a beautiful wedding or a party. There’s plenty of room inside and outside with spectacular sea views.

Kinkell Byre gives you the chance to create your own event with as much freedom as possible. The wedding venue itself is a complete blank canvas that still retains many original features. The experienced team at Selgar’s will give you as much or as little help and advice as you want. This allows you to really put your personal touch on your truly unique event. They have 10 self catering Cabins on site that can sleep up to 2 people, so 20 people can stay on site!
