we love...

What’s not to love? You can have your very own village in the heart of Provence for the weekend and to top it off, you’ll have Josh Tully there every step of the way…

Recognised for his work at Babington House (IYKYK), and for launching esteemed French wedding venue La Vue France, Josh Tully has been wedding planning for over 10 years. Josh and his team work every client from concept to conclusion – including on the day wedding management.

“When I first visited this venue I had chills,” explains Josh Tully. “Every corner is so well considered and perfectly styled, and then there is the view. I’ve been lucky enough to work with many fabulous venues but none with a view quite like this – it bought a tear to my eye. It feels exclusive yet genuine and honest, and I just can’t wait to share the space with our clients and start the creative process with the venue.”

What's So Special About Le Grand Banc?

A private hamlet with spectacular views of the Luberon National Park and surrounding lavender fields.

The estate is completely private, secluded and remote. Which means that there are no noise restrictions, no neighbours, (no curfew!), ample parking and far reaching views across unspoilt countryside.

The property itself boasts a chic, provencal artistic vibe and the interiors consist of a wealth of wonderful paintings and furniture, predominantly from the 60’s and 70’s. It is homely without being too opulent and incredibly stylish without being ostentatious.

With accommodation for large groups, LGB can sleep up to 24 guests across the eight properties within the village. The beautiful properties include a range of large and small houses and studios, some with their own kitchens and others with their own terraces.

Josh Tully Style Tip For A Wedding At Le Grand Banc..

The colours are muted and the stone walls create the perfect back drop. I imagine wild florals, wispy and seasonal. Textured candle holders and vases, ceramics and vintage glass. I intend to keep it simple but beautiful, the venue really gives style in an abundance.

Transportation

Big cities such as Paris have a metro but most locations have cheap and accessible public transport, such as trains and buses. Taxis are easy to find or call – available taxis are often indicated by a blue or white light.

Public Holidays

The French treat Christmas, Easter and New Year as serious holidays, as well as VE Day (8th May), Bastille Day (14th July), Armistice Day (11th November) and various saints days (e.g. All Saints' Day on 1st November).

Good Time to Go

Late May - Early October

good to know

If you're flexible with your Wedding date, late Spring (April/May) & early Autumn (Oct), just outside of High Season can be slightly cheaper when booking a venue. You will find late June & September dates book up quickly - these are the preferred months to celebrate a wedding in France.

What Couples Say

‘Everyone says your wedding weekend is meant to be the best of your life. When your friends and family tell you it was theirs too, you know it must have been a good’un. LGB makes for the most magical and memorable wedding. Cosmo and the team helped us bring to life the exact vision of what we wanted. Everything about the weekend was perfect, from our rustic and handwritten ceremony to our 80s themed pool party. We’d do it all again in a heartbeat.’
