we love...
Mas Terrats is a beautiful 15th century, newly renovated, Catalan farmhouse. We may be a little biased (Mr White and I married/partied hard here in 2018 with 100 of our closest friends & family) but there really is a special something about Mas Terrats, whether that be the stunning building itself or the vast olive grove and surrounding woodland. The owner, Rosa, is quite possibly the nicest woman on the planet (yep) and although her English is limited, we communicated mainly through big hugs and a lot of ‘can we do this’ expressions? It was always a nod, Si. Nothing is too much at Mas Terrats. We must also mention, whilst completely secluded, the ease of getting to Mas Terrats is a sure fire win for your guests, just 30 minutes from Girona airport.

What's so special about Mas Terrats?
Mas Terrats is your home away from home. A 15th century traditional Catalan farmhouse. It’s yours for the duration of your stay, giving you the complete freedom of the venue and all of the facilities; with their staff always on hand to help with any special requests. You can rent Mas Terrats for the day or for a 3 day long weekend affair.
With 9 spacious, very spanish double rooms (with en suites), a unique outside covered space, as well as over 100 hectares of grounds and naturally beautiful gardens; we’re confident you’ll fall in love with this perfect location.
don't miss...
Even though Mas Terrats is a self catered venue, the staff can schedule for fresh pastries to arrive each morning of your stay from a local bakery – this makes for a delightful little arrival on the morning of your wedding for any guests staying at the house with you.

Transportation
RENFE runs high-speed trains across the country and towns such as Madrid and Barcelona have their own Metro networks. Look for the green light if you want to hail a taxi in the street – Spanish taxis wont take more than four people at a time and they’re harder to find on Friday and Saturday nights. Most cities have plenty of buses with tickets available on board or at estancos (tobacconists).
Public Holidays
All the big religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, as well as Three Kings Day/ Epiphany (6th January), Labour Day (1st May) and Hispanic Day (12th October). Many of the regions have their own local public holidays, such as Balearic Day in the Balearic Islands (1st March).
Good Time to Go
Late April - Early October
good to know
Spain is recognised as one of the sunniest countries in Europe, with over 300 days of sunshine per year. That sounds like good odd's to us...
