we love...
A note from the owners: Mas Torroella was built in the XIV century, but when my father bought it in 1989 it was an abandoned stone ruin, crying out to be loved and cared for by somebody. He spent most of his life rebuilding it, investing all his love and passion to create his dream. When my father passed away in 2010, my husband and I decided to fulfill his dream and complete the restoration. Now our historic manor house has been turned into a charming Luxury Villa & Spa. Most of our guests agree that you can feel the peace, tranquillity and love inside and outside our house. We are proud of it and must admit that, after a long and hard period of restoration, it has been worthwhile. We have put lots of effort and all our heart and soul into this project…and I just hope my father would be proud of it if he could see it today.

what's so special about Mas Torroella?
Mas Torroella is a beautiful 14th century Catalan Masia, standing in acres of rolling countryside where the surrounding dense forest contrasts with the verdant, flowering meadows to create a real life landscape oil painting. From the large first floor sun terrace, views of the sparkling Mediterranean stretch out in the distant horizon.
This beautifully rural setting is just a short 10 minute drive from some of most picturesque and unspoilt coastal beauty spots along the Catalan coastline; Aigua Blava, Tamariu and Llafranc to name but a few. Your guests will also thank you for the ease of location, just 50 minutes from Girona airport towards the coast.
don't miss...
Mas Torroella’s designated BBQ area and outside grounds are perfect for those ‘day after’ celebrations.

Transportation
RENFE runs high-speed trains across the country and towns such as Madrid and Barcelona have their own Metro networks. Look for the green light if you want to hail a taxi in the street – Spanish taxis wont take more than four people at a time and they’re harder to find on Friday and Saturday nights. Most cities have plenty of buses with tickets available on board or at estancos (tobacconists).
Public Holidays
All the big religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, as
well as Three Kings Day/ Epiphany (6th January), Labour Day (1st May) and Hispanic Day (12th October). Many of the regions have their own local public holidays, such as Balearic Day in the Balearic Islands (1st March).
