What's So Special About Venetsanos Winery?
The Venetsanos family built this beautiful winery back in 1947 and it became the first industrial winery on the island of Santorini. Perfectly poised on the cliffside of Megalochori, Venetsanos Winery offers a unique place to say I do for weddings of up to 130. Whether you’re opting for an elopement, an intimate affair, or perhaps a rather lavish party with the full 130 – Venetsanos winery provides the perfect location.
Τhe winery is built on 4 different levels.Your Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be on the ‘Upper Terrace’ (which spans 250 square meters) and has that iconic backdrop of the Aegean sea.
Although you must use the provided bar team and drinks package, the venue offers you the flexibility to choose all your own other external suppliers – catering team, florist, music – you get to decide.
Nearest Airport: Just 8 mins from the islands airport or if travelling by ferry, just above Athinios Port. You can reach the winery by taxi, car or take the local bus from Fira town towards Perissa or Megalochori.

Greek Independence Day falls on 25th March each year and Ochi Day (also known as World War ΙΙ National Holiday) falls on 28th October. Other than that Greece’s public holidays are the fairly standard religious holidays and Labour Day (1st May)
