What's So Special About Villa Sylva?
If it’s good enough for 007 it’s good enough for us. But seriously – this picturesque beachfront Villa makes for the idyllic destination wedding location, nestled on a cliff edge in Corfu overlooking the Ionian Sea.
The Villa Sylva estate has beautiful manicured gardens with decadent flowering shrubbery, offering the perfect setting for your wedding reception or ceremony on the grounds. The large pool area is an ideal spot for those post Ceremony reception drinks and canapes.
If you’d prefer a church wedding over a garden ceremony, the estate is also ideally located in the Kanoni area of Corfu, only a 7-minute drive away from two beautiful historical churches which are both great options for a memorable religious wedding ceremony. We’d recommend either Vlacherna Monastery, which is one of the most famous and photographed places on Corfu or the Church of Pantokrator, uniquely located on the small island of Pontikonissi (Mouse Island); you can actually see the small island from the villa – it’s gorgeous.
The 10 acre property can accommodate up to 18 people in 9 bedrooms in the main house. It’s also perfectly positioned well away from Corfu’s tourist crowds, yet offers you easy access to the restaurants and shops of Corfu town for any guests staying a while.

Villa Sylva Wedding Cost
April – October (minimum stay of one week)
April, May, June, September & October €35,000
(€30,000 for the villa rental for a week plus €5,000 extra for the wedding)
July and August €50,000
(€45,000 for the villa rental for a week plus €5,000 for the wedding)
Number of guests: On the day of the wedding 100 guests may attend based on the above rates. The villa can accommodate up to 200 guests for the wedding at an increased rate of €5,000.
What’s Included: Villa, sleeps 18 guests (9 bedrooms all with en suite’s), Villa Sylva Staff to assist and make sure everything runs smoothly on the wedding day. The manager, maintenance crew (plumber and electrician), cleaning crew and security guard. We also spray the premises beforehand to remove all insects and mosquitoes.
These rates do not include an event planner, catering or other suppliers.

Athens is the only city in Greece with a metro system but most towns have reliable transport, whether buses or taxis. If you’re on an island or by the coast then the best way to get around is often on foot.

Greek Independence Day falls on 25th March each year and Ochi Day (also known as World War ΙΙ National Holiday) falls on 28th October. Other than that Greece’s public holidays are the fairly standard religious holidays and Labour Day (1st May)
