Nouvelle-Aquitaine wedding venues
The Best Wedding Venues in Nouvelle-Aquitaine for a Destination Wedding
Nouvelle-Aquitaine is enormous. We have kept our current edit rather more focused, beginning around Bordeaux, where vineyard roads, river views and handsome old estates sit surprisingly close to the city.
Château de Garde is the more intimate of the two. An exclusive-use vineyard estate in the Bordeaux countryside, it pairs classical French bones with a palm-filled courtyard, fountain and wonderfully graphic black-and-white floor. Weddings can host between 30 and 120 guests, while accommodation for 36 means your closest people can properly settle in rather than disappearing after dinner.
Château Gassies sits just ten minutes from Bordeaux, although its 14 hectares of parkland make the city feel much farther away. The 18th-century château looks across the Garonne towards Bordeaux and sleeps up to 43 guests between six suites and three guesthouses. It is grand where it should be, relaxed where it matters and particularly good at the sort of long, residential wedding weekend we love.
Explore our handpicked Nouvelle-Aquitaine wedding venues below. Each listing includes accommodation, capacity, pricing where available and the useful details that are considerably less romantic, but no less important.
