The Best French Riviera Wedding Venues for a Destination Wedding
Saint-Tropez needs little introduction. The more interesting bit, as far as weddings are concerned, lies just beyond the harbour: hilltop villages, vineyards and that lovely late Mediterranean light, with all the Riviera polish and rather more breathing room.
Our current French Riviera edit begins in Gassin at Domaine Tropez, a vineyard estate just minutes from Saint-Tropez. Vows can be exchanged among the vines, drinks poured as the sun slips behind the hills and dinner served in a reception hall finished with Pierre de Bourgogne limestone and old Provençal beams.
There is room for up to 150 guests, along with reassuring flexibility over suppliers and drinks. Accommodation is off-site, but that hardly feels like a hardship here. Guests can settle into Gassin, Ramatuelle or Saint-Tropez, making the surrounding coast part of the weekend rather than simply its backdrop.
