What's so special about Villa Tirrena?
Villa Tirrena | A Tuscan Vineyard Estate Made for Celebrations
Approaching Villa Tirrena, the road winds gently through the vineyard before the estate comes into view, surrounded by rows of vines and the regionโs rolling hills. The setting feels effortlessly romantic โ warm light, open skies and the quiet beauty of the countryside shaping the atmosphere from the moment guests arrive.
Recognised among The Worldโs Most Stunning Wineries, the estate brings a real sense of occasion while still feeling relaxed and distinctly local atmosphere. Weddings here unfold easily across the grounds, with space for up to 250 guests to gather for dinner outdoors. Long tables set among the vines or beside the villa create the perfect backdrop for a celebration that moves naturally from ceremony to aperitivo and into dancing under the Italian night sky. Should the weather require, the interiors can comfortably host between 80 and 100 guests, offering an elegant and atmospheric alternative.
With seven suites sleeping 14 guests, the accommodation keeps the experience intimate. The villa becomes home to your closest circle for the weekend โ slow mornings with coffee overlooking the vines and evenings that stretch long after the formal celebrations have ended. With exclusive use, the estate is entirely yours.
For guests travelling from the UK, reaching the estate is refreshingly straightforward. Leonardo da Vinci International Airport in Rome is approximately one hour and thirty four minutes away by car, while San Francesco dโAssisi Airport is closer still at just over an hour. The journey into the countryside feels like a gradual exhale, trading terminals for terracotta, vineyards and open Italian Skies.
Villa Tirrena is warm, atmospheric and unmistakably Italian. It suits couples drawn to the romance of a vineyard setting but who want space for a larger celebration while still keeping the experience personal and relaxed.
Nearest Airports: Villa Tirrena is located in an easily accessible location for your wedding guests travelling in from abroad โ just 1 hr 34 min (137 km) from Leonardo da Vinci International Airport (FCO) and 1 hr 11 min (81.1 km) from San Francesco d’Assisi Airport (PEG).

Transportation
While Italyโs train network is excellent between cities such as Rome, Florence and Pisa, reaching countryside estates often requires a short taxi or private transfer for the final part of the journey. For this reason, many couples arrange guest shuttles or private coaches on the wedding day to ensure everyone arrives comfortably and safely.
For guests staying a few days, car hire is often the easiest way to explore Tuscany, particularly if they plan to visit nearby villages, vineyards or coastal towns during their trip.
Public Holidays
Each town in Italy has it's own patron saint and shuts down to celebrate the saintโs day each year (e.g. Rome is Sts. Peter and Paul, June 29th). Alongside Christmas and Easter, the other big religious festivals are Epiphany (6th January) and All Saints Day (1st November). All of Italy celebrates Labour Day (1st May) and also Liberation Day (April 25th).
