we love...

The slower pace of the estate. Villa Rocca 1914 naturally encourages couples to turn their wedding into a weekend, where long breakfasts and unhurried afternoons are just as memorable as the celebration itself.

What's so special about Villa Rocca 1914?

Villa Rocca 1914 – A Historic Puglian Villa Made for Relaxed, Authentic, Sun Filled Celebrations

Set among the rolling countryside of Puglia, Villa Rocca 1914 is the kind of place that encourages everyone to slow down. Surrounded by olive groves and open farmland, the villa feels wonderfully private, offering a wedding setting where long lunches, golden evenings and time spent together are just as important as the celebration itself.

Dating back to the early 1900s, the villa has retained the elegance and character of its original architecture while embracing the relaxed rhythm that defines this part of southern Italy. Rather than feeling overly polished or formal, Villa Rocca 1914 has an understated warmth that immediately puts guests at ease, making it feel less like a venue and more like a beautiful private home borrowed for the weekend.

Available exclusively, couples have the freedom to shape the celebration entirely around their own vision. Ceremonies can take place within the gardens before guests drift naturally into aperitivo overlooking the surrounding countryside. As the afternoon gives way to evening, dinner beneath the Puglian sky becomes one of the day’s defining moments, with the landscape providing a constantly changing backdrop from golden hour through to sunset.

Hosting up to 80 guests, Villa Rocca 1914 lends itself beautifully to destination weddings where the focus is less on vast scale and more on the experience. Every part of the estate feels connected, creating a celebration that flows naturally from one moment to the next.

Accommodation for up to 18 guests allows immediate family and closest friends to stay at the heart of the celebrations, while additional accommodation can be found nearby for the wider guest list.

Villa Rocca 1914 works with a carefully curated collection of trusted local suppliers, giving couples access to experienced professionals who know the estate well while still allowing flexibility to create a celebration that feels personal rather than prescribed. As with many countryside venues, weather contingency options can be discussed directly with the team to ensure the day can adapt seamlessly if needed.

For guests travelling internationally, Brindisi Airport is around 45 minutes away, making travel refreshingly straightforward while preserving the feeling of escape that defines the villa’s rural setting.

Villa Rocca 1914 is ideal for couples who value simplicity done beautifully. Intimate without feeling small, elegant without unnecessary formality, it’s a place where the landscape, the pace of life and the people gathered around you naturally become the heart of the celebration.

Nearest Airports: Villa Rocca 1914 is located in an easily accessible location for your wedding guests travelling in from abroad โ€“ approximately 40โ€“50 minutes (48 km) away from Brindisi Airport (BDS).

Transportation

While Italyโ€™s train network is excellent between cities such as Rome, Florence and Pisa, reaching countryside estates often requires a short taxi or private transfer for the final part of the journey. For this reason, many couples arrange guest shuttles or private coaches on the wedding day to ensure everyone arrives comfortably and safely.

Public Holidays

Each town in Italy has it's own patron saint and shuts down to celebrate the saintโ€™s day each year (e.g. Rome is Sts. Peter and Paul, June 29th). Alongside Christmas and Easter, the other big religious festivals are Epiphany (6th January) and All Saints Day (1st November). All of Italy celebrates Labour Day (1st May) and also Liberation Day (April 25th).

What Couples Say

“My husband and I hosted our wedding at Villa Rocca in May 2025, and I truly cannot put into words just how magical this place is. From the moment you arrive, the beauty of the villa takes your breath away. Perched on a hill overlooking endless olive groves, Villa Rocca offers the perfect balance of seclusion, tranquility, and breathtaking scenery.

The villa is modern yet timeless, with every detail thoughtfully designed. The rooms are inviting, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, and the olive grove was the perfect ceremony space-peaceful, picturesque, and everything we dreamed of.

What truly made our experience unforgettable was the people. Michele and Elena went above and beyond, handling everything with such care and professionalism. It is so clear how deeply they care about their guests and creating an unforgettable experience.

Villa Rocca’s wedding planner, Yuliya, was incredible. She was organised, thoughtful, prepared for absolutely everything, and made the entire experience feel effortless, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment.

Villa Rocca became more than just our wedding venueโ€”it became a place filled with some of the most meaningful memories of our lives. We will forever be grateful for the magic, the people, and the experience we had there. We could not imagine a more perfect place to begin our marriage.”
