Villa Fegotto, Sicily
Italy
we love...
That Villa Fegotto still feels like a private Sicilian estate rather than a purpose-built wedding venue. Its history isn’t something that’s been recreated, it’s simply part of everyday life here.

What's so special about Villa Fegotto?
Villa Fegotto – A Historic Sicilian Villa for Slow, Sun Filled Wedding Weekends
Some places lend themselves effortlessly to destination weddings, not because they were designed for them, but because they’ve always brought people together. Villa Fegotto is one of those places.
Long before it became a wedding venue, it was a thriving Sicilian country estate, where vineyards, olive groves and gardens shaped everyday life. Today, none of that character has been lost. The villa still feels wonderfully lived in, with elegant courtyards, centuries-old trees and historic buildings that invite guests to slow down, settle in and experience Sicily at it’s own pace.
Exclusively yours throughout the celebrations, the estate lends itself beautifully to destination weddings that unfold over several days rather than a single afternoon. Guests gather for welcome drinks beneath the trees, spend long evenings dining outdoors beneath festoon lights and wake to another day together before the celebrations continue. By the time the wedding arrives, it already feels less like an event and more like a house party in the Sicilian countryside.
Hosting up to 240 guests, Villa Fegotto is remarkably versatile without ever feeling overwhelming. Every part of the estate feels connected, allowing the celebration to move effortlessly from one setting to the next while maintaining the intimacy that makes destination weddings so special.
The villa sleeps up to 10 guests across four elegant suites, making it ideal for immediate family or your wedding party, while additional accommodation nearby allows the rest of your guests to remain close throughout the weekend. A trusted network of local suppliers knows the estate inside out, giving couples the freedom to create a celebration that feels entirely their own while benefiting from years of local expertise. As with any predominantly outdoor venue, weather contingency arrangements can be discussed directly with the team.
Just 15 minutes from Comiso Airport, Villa Fegotto combines the feeling of escaping to rural Sicily with the practicality of easy travel for guests arriving from across Europe and beyond. Between celebrations, there’s every reason to explore the nearby Baroque towns, linger over long Sicilian lunches or simply enjoy the slower rhythm of life that makes this corner of the island so captivating.
Villa Fegotto is for couples who want their wedding to feel like a weekend away with everyone they love. Relaxed, elegant and unmistakably Sicilian, it’s a place where good food, generous hospitality and beautiful surroundings naturally do most of the work.
Nearest Airports: Villa Fegotto is located in an easily accessible location for your wedding guests travelling in from abroad โ Comiso Airport (CIY) โ approximately 12 km (7.5 miles) away, around a 15-minute drive and CataniaโFontanarossa Airport (CTA) approximately 80 km away.

Transportation
While Italyโs train network is excellent between cities such as Rome, Florence and Pisa, reaching countryside estates often requires a short taxi or private transfer for the final part of the journey. For this reason, many couples arrange guest shuttles or private coaches on the wedding day to ensure everyone arrives comfortably and safely.
Public Holidays
Each town in Italy has it's own patron saint and shuts down to celebrate the saintโs day each year (e.g. Rome is Sts. Peter and Paul, June 29th). Alongside Christmas and Easter, the other big religious festivals are Epiphany (6th January) and All Saints Day (1st November). All of Italy celebrates Labour Day (1st May) and also Liberation Day (April 25th).
