we love...

What if we told you this Cretan estate was also home to it’s own on-site mini zoo… donkeys, deer, wild goats, bees, wild boar & more! Not many wedding venues can offer that.

What's So Special About Agreco Farm?

Set on a hill overlooking the sea, this exclusive wedding venue in Greece encapsulates romance and rustic charm. An authentic Cretan working farm, Agreco was previously awarded the “best organic restaurant” in the world by Vanity Fair.

With it’s very own quaint chapel ‘St Nicholas’, for your religious ceremony, with the village square setting for your civil or informal ceremony (for more details on how to legally get married in Greece visit our guide here).

Shaped by hand, every stone at Agreco preserves the delicate balance between man and nature. On the farm itself you will find an Olive Press, a Watermill, a Wood-burning Oven, a General Store, a Wine Cellar and Workshops.

Alfresco dining in the courtyard can be enjoyed for up to 200 of your guests with more intimate gatherings inside the Taverna.

Wedding celebrations at Agreco Farm are sure to be an unforgettable experience for you and your guests – why not treat you and your guests to wine & olive tasting and visit some of the animals at the farm zoo on the Estate.

Athens is the only city in Greece with a metro system but most towns have reliable transport, whether buses or taxis. If you’re on an island or by the coast then the best way to get around is often on foot.

Public Holidays

Greek Independence Day falls on 25th March each year and Ochi Day (also known as World War ΙΙ National Holiday) falls on 28th October. Other than that Greece’s public holidays are the fairly standard religious holidays and Labour Day (1st May)

What Couples Say

We have just renewed our wedding vows at the farm and it was more than I could ever dreamed of. The hospitality of Maria, Rita and Giorgos and all the staff was outstanding. Compliments to the Chef as the food was excellent. Fantastic choices for meat eaters, vegetarians and children. The choices of wine were excellent also. The setting, the atmosphere and the organisation was everything I hoped it could be and more!
We will definitely return

What Couples Say

We just got married there on 15 June 2019, and the venue, staff and food is second to none. The venue and sunset did 50% of the work of making this day so memorable. Along with our friends and family that travelled far and wide to be with us, the folks at AgrecoFarms and our wedding planner at Memories, Annike, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The food and wine produced was the best that we ate in Crete and I can’t stress how friendly and hospitable the staff are. We will be coming back!
