Set within 300 acres of forests and meadows, this beautifully restored 11th century Catalan farmhouse combines rustic charm with modern comforts, making it the perfect spot for a destination wedding in Spain.
The property features numerous ceremony and reception spaces, from a sunlit garden with panoramic views to an elegant courtyard draped overhead with fairy lights to the on site chapel.
The estate also offers on-site accommodation for up to 26 guests, with beautifully renovated rooms and suites, plus a pool and outdoor lounge areas for unwinding before and after the big day.
Located just 30 minutes from Girona and 90 minutes from Barcelona, Mas Huix is easily accessible while feeling worlds away from the hustle and bustle. With nearby medieval villages, coastal beaches, and the Pyrenees, thereโs plenty for guests to explore during their stay either side of the wedding itself.

RENFE runs high-speed trains across the country and towns such as Madrid and Barcelona have their own Metro networks. Look for the green light if you want to hail a taxi in the street โ Spanish taxis wont take more than four people at a time and theyโre harder to find on Friday and Saturday nights. Most cities have plenty of buses with tickets available on board or at estancos (tobacconists).

All the big religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, as well as Three Kings Day/ Epiphany (6th January), Labour Day (1st May) and Hispanic Day (12th October). Many of the regions have their own local public holidays, such as Balearic Day in the Balearic Islands (1st March).
