The Gardens at Casa Nova, Sitges, Barcelona
Spain
we love...
The Gardens at Casa Nova has a rather useful neighbour. A private pathway connects the estate directly to Casa Nova Estate, giving larger wedding parties the option of accommodation across 19 bedrooms while still keeping the whole setup wonderfully private. Ideal when you want more of your favourite people close by for the weekend.

Whatโs so special about The Gardens at Casa Nova?
The Gardens at Casa Nova | A Spanish Garden Party, Just Outside Barcelona
Hidden among orange groves and 140 hectares of private Mediterranean countryside, The Gardens at Casa Nova feels remarkably removed from it all. In reality, Sitges is just 10 minutes away and Barcelona Airport around 30 minutes โ a rather brilliant combination when you’re planning a destination wedding and bringing everyone in from abroad.
The house itself has been restored from a historic ruin, pairing its original Mediterranean character with contemporary architecture and interiors. But it’s outside where this place really comes into its own. There are sweeping terraces, gardens filled with orange trees and a 15-metre saltwater pool with its own integrated bar โ the sort of setting that makes arriving a day or two before the wedding feel like an essential part of the plan.
Celebrations can move through different parts of the estate as the day unfolds, rather than asking everyone to remain in one wedding space. Ceremony in the gardens, drinks elsewhere, dinner beneath the open sky and then on to dancing โ with room for celebrations of up to 200 guests.
Exclusive use means the estate becomes entirely yours, with ten bedrooms โ including a Presidential Suite โ sleeping up to 25 guests. For larger groups, there’s another clever detail: a private pathway connects The Gardens directly with neighbouring Casa Nova Estate, allowing guests to stay across 19 bedrooms while the two properties remain private from the outside world. It’s a particularly good setup for bringing families and friends together for more than just the wedding day.
The Gardens at Casa Nova is the fourth Sitges Luxury Rentals property to join The White Edit, alongside Masia Victoria, Alcazar del Garraf and Masia Casa Nova. Having hosted numerous weddings across their collection, the team knows the realities of bringing a destination celebration together as well as the lovely bits. Each property has its own personality, but all come with the reassurance of an experienced wedding team behind them.
Catering is handled in-house, while the choice of indoor and outdoor spaces gives couples plenty of freedom in how the celebration takes shape. We’d be making the most of the outdoors โ long lunches around the pool, dinner among the gardens and plenty of time with everyone together before and after the wedding itself.
For couples who love the idea of Barcelona but want space, privacy and a house full of their favourite people, The Gardens at Casa Nova offers the best of both. Close enough to make getting there easy, far enough away to feel like you’ve properly escaped.
Nearest Airports: The Gardens at Casa Nova is approximately 30 to 35 minutes by car from Barcelona Airport (BCN).

The 15-metre saltwater pool โ particularly the integrated pool bar. Gather everyone here the day before the wedding for drinks and a long afternoon in the Spanish sunshine. Itโs exactly the sort of space that turns a destination wedding into a few days away together.

Transportation
RENFE runs high-speed trains across the country and towns such as Madrid and Barcelona have their own Metro networks. Look for the green light if you want to hail a taxi in the street โ Spanish taxis wont take more than four people at a time and theyโre harder to find on Friday and Saturday nights. Most cities have plenty of buses with tickets available on board or at estancos (tobacconists).
Public Holidays
All the big religious holidays such as Easter and Christmas, as well as Three Kings Day/ Epiphany (6th January), Labour Day (1st May) and Hispanic Day (12th October). Many of the regions have their own local public holidays, such as Balearic Day in the Balearic Islands (1st March).

good to know
Spain is recognised as one of the sunniest countries in Europe, with over 300 days of sunshine per year. That sounds like good odd's to us...
