The Vintage House Hotel is a truly special place say I do abroad, it remains the only luxury property to be located right on the bank of the River Douro.

What's So Special About The Vintage House Hotel?
A 19th-Century wine estate poised at the edge of the Douro River, in the heart of the Douro Valley.
The Vintage House Hotel was originally a wine lodge and some years later turned into a boutique hotel by renowned port wine makers, Taylor’s. It combines the best of vintage – think cherished antiques and wine memorabilia – with modern service and facilities. Plus, the views are breathtaking.
The Vintage House Hotel is located in quite the prominent, unique position at the junction where the Douro and Pinhão River Valleys meet, encircled by many of the region’s most famous wine estates.
An elegant hotel, located in the traditional town of Pinhão, home to a few quaint picturesque cafés and restaurants. Pinhão station (whose platform has direct access to the property for your guests taking the scenic route here) is one of the prettiest in Portugal, with a waiting room that just simply belongs to another era. The journey from here to Porto is one of Europe’s most scenic railway routes.
The hotel has been designed to showcase its riverside location at every opportunity. The outdoor pool is right on the river and there are plenty of terraces where you can soak up the views. Each one of the classical rooms has its own balcony or terrace with views of the Douro River or surrounding vineyards.
don't miss...
A stand-out feature is the outdoor Ceremony area – the tranquility of a waterside wedding.

good to know
Portugal is still somewhat of a hidden gem when it comes to the destination wedding market. Although locals still have a very traditional wedding style, the creatives working over there love to push the boundaries, so you can rest assured your Portuguese destination wedding will be like no other.
