Castilla–La Mancha wedding venues
Best Wedding Venues in Castilla-La Mancha and Toledo
Toledo is a city best appreciated from a slight distance. Across the River Tagus, its honey-coloured towers, rooftops and ancient walls provide all the theatre a wedding backdrop could reasonably need.
This is cigarral country. Particular to Toledo, cigarrales are traditional country estates set within gardens and olive groves overlooking the historic city. Originally created as places for summer entertaining and escape, their combination of privacy, landscape and far-reaching views translates rather beautifully to a destination wedding.
Our Castilla-La Mancha collection begins with Cigarral de Las Mercedes, a private estate overlooking Toledo and less than an hour from Madrid. Landscaped gardens, terraces and viewpoints allow each part of the wedding to have its own setting, from an outdoor ceremony to sunset drinks, dinner and dancing without a curfew.
At the heart of the estate is a 43-room hotel with private villas, accommodating around 100 guests on site. That makes a multi-day celebration feel pleasingly straightforward, while the wider estate can host weddings of up to 400. An experienced in-house team, planning support and dedicated preparation spaces also remove much of the logistical weight from organising a wedding abroad.
Beyond Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha is a region of vineyards, historic towns and wide-open countryside. It offers a quieter alternative to Spain’s coastal destinations, without asking guests to travel too far from Madrid.
